Preparing for Poster Session
Prepare a poster
You will have a 4-foot by 4-foot area on which to post materials. Please prepare a poster with the names of all presenters and the name of the department at the top. The poster need not be elaborate, but it should be bold and visible from a distance.
If you need help making and printing a poster, you can go to Reprographics at 9 Forsyth Building for assistance. Please make an appointment well ahead of the March 26 event to be sure you have enough time to complete the poster. Please note that Reprographics can only print posters up to 3 feet wide. If you plan to present an interactive exhibit, please indicate this on the abstract submission form.

Check in on March 26 between 9:00 and 10:45 a.m.
Please check in at the registration table between 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. Pick up name tags, programs and a poster board number that will tell you which board is yours. You should have your presentation mounted by 10:45 a.m. Be sure to bring push pins as none will be provided.
Present your poster at the Expo
Poster sessions are concurrent, but if you would like to make presentations at specific times, you may post a sign at your display with the times listed. If you can't be at the Expo during the entire three hours, please be sure to have someone stay with your poster to answer questions. If you are working with a company, please invite representatives to attend. Please announce this event in your classes. We strongly encourage you to invite students, colleagues and others to attend.
Remove your poster
All posters are to remain on display for the full three hours of the Expo. You can remove your posters between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. We are not responsible for posters not removed by 3 p.m.
